INVITATION
Everyone
is invited to the 40th Reunion of the Class of 1964
(that’s a “double 20” if
your kids really want to know), on July 30 & 31,
2004. If you started with us at Mound Fort Junior High
in the
7th grade (see picture),
joined us along the way, left us, or even have a vague
recollection of actually graduating, you are invited to
the party.

On Friday night, (for
classmates only) 6:00-9:30 P.M. we’ll
see you at the high school for visiting and a panoramic
picture.
Come prepared to share stories about your grandchildren (and
great grandchildren), tell about your most recent surgeries,
and reminisce with people who actually care (I remember the
first TV we got…or…I remember when gas was only
25 cents a gallon…).
There is NO CHARGE for Friday night, but we need to know if
you are going to be there to get a head count for goodies. You
shouldn't need a map for this one... we hope.
On Saturday morning, Rick Middleton will
share the secret of how to score (in golf) at the golf tournament
held at The Barn Golf Course, 8:00 A.M. We
might even have some prizes. Contact Rick
Middleton for details and to register ($25.00/person to
include green fees and cart). See
map
On
Saturday night, 6:30 P.M. we’ll
get together for a dinner party at the Timber Mine Restaurant,
1701 Park Boulevard at the mouth of Ogden Canyon. See
map.
Cost for dinner is $30.00 per person with a choice or either
New York Steak or Salmon for the main entree.
Dress is optional for
all three events, although it is highly recommended at your
age that
you wear something.
- If you can’t come, send money.
No contribution is too large.
- We are planning on creating
a "40th Anniversary" year book, so get your updated
biography ready.
- Ogden has changed dramatically; there are 2 or 3
blocks missing downtown.
- Ben
Lomond
is
going
to be
torn
down and
re-built
on the football field.
The cost for
the reunion will be:
Friday night ... No charge.
Saturday golf ... $25.00/person includes green fee and cart.
Saturday night dinner ...
$30.00 per person ($60.00 per couple)

We’ll likely respond like
Bennett Cerf did at his high school reunion: “Most
of my classmates were so old, gray, and wrinkled that they
didn’t even recognize me”.
See ya there. |
