Dennis W. Price

10-28-1946 to 3-06-2016

Dennis died in Mesa, AZ on March 6, 2016. His wife, Diane, kindly shared the following information with his classmates.

As per Dennis' wishes, there was no service, and because we travelled so much over 20+ years, there is no obituary because we lived in so many places through out the western U. S.  Dennis chose that his ashes would be scattered in Yellowstone National Park in an area that was very special to him (to both of us).

Dennis was born in Chicago, Ill. He served during the Vietnam Conflict as a Nuclear Weapons Bay Chief, and gathered many, many friends into his life from Hawaii to all points of the west coast. He died March 6, 2016, in Mesa Az. and is survived by his Sister, Barbara Gunderson, Glendale Az., his brother Barry, also of Glendale, Az. and his wife, Diane of Mesa, Az.

At the time of his 50th Reunion we found out about his first cancer, so he was unable to attend due to surgery and treatment. Den really wanted to go to the 50th because there were a couple of guys he was hoping would be there. Sadly, only 5 months later, we learned of his 2nd cancer (which was very rare), and we came to M.D. Anderson Cancer research Center in Mesa, Az from Oregon.
